An attractive early 20th-century edition of Alexandre Dumas's classic The Three Musketeers, published by Frederick Warne & Co.
This substantial 538-page complete edition retains its original green publisher's cloth, decorated with blind-stamped borders and foliate designs, black lettering and gilt detailing to the spine. It also features an attractive colour frontispiece depicting a scene from the novel.
First published in 1844, The Three Musketeers follows the young d'Artagnan and the musketeers Athos, Porthos and Aramis through one of literature's most enduring tales of adventure, intrigue and friendship.

Good condition for its age. The original cloth remains attractive with some rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Noticeable foxing and age toning internally, particularly to the preliminary and final leaves, with scattered foxing elsewhere. Some wear around the frontispiece and title-page area.
A charming period edition of one of the great adventure novels, particularly attractive for its decorative original binding and colour frontispiece.
