Description:

A group of original leaves from a 1605 edition of the Geneva Bible, containing pages from the Apocrypha section. The Geneva Bible was one of the most influential English Bibles of the Reformation era and was widely used in the late 16th and early 17th centuries.

These leaves are printed in blackletter type with Geneva marginal notes and cross-references, characteristic of early Geneva Bible printings.

The final leaf in this group contains the printed line “The end of the Apocrypha.”, along with a decorative printer’s device, making it a particularly appealing page for collectors of early Bible printing.
